Varun Dhawan-Kiara Advani, Rajkummar Rao-Bhumi Pednekar and Aditya Roy Kapur-Sanjana Sanghi: 6 Fresh On-Screen Pairs To Watch Out For
As more and more films line up for release with Covid shutting theatres down, here’s a look at six more fresh on-screen pairings we’ll get to see soon
We have been sharing the interesting line up of fresh pairs that Bollywood is ready to welcome on screen soon, including the likes of Kartik Aaryan-Kiara Advani, Ranbir Kapoor- Parineeti Chopra and Sara Ali Khan- Vicky Kaushal.
Continuing that series, here’s a look at six more fresh pairs that are ready to grace our screens in the coming future:
Varun Dhawan-Kiara Advani
Kiara is climbing high on the ladder of success and she is currently on a professional roll with multiple projects in various stages of production. One of them is Raj Mehta’s story about two couples, Jug Jugg Jeeyo opposite Varun Dhawan. The two Dharma talents are collaborating for the first time for this romcom and if their photoshoot is something to go by, they are ready to sizzle on screen together.
Rajkummar Rao-Bhumi Pednekar
With the kind of cinema both of these actors do and their acting capabilities, it seems unreal that the duo hasn’t collaborated on a project yet. But the wait is finally over as Rajkummar and Bhumi come together for the first time in Junglee Pictures’ Badhaai Do, a sequel to the 2019 surprise blockbuster Badhaai Ho, featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra.
Aditya Roy Kapur-Sanjana Sanghi
With Malang last year, Aditya successfully attempted to reinvent his image from an alcoholic lover to an action hero. And the actor is now carrying that image forward with Ahmed Khan’s OM: The Battle Within. The film will see him star opposite Sanjana, who is also trying to break her cute-girl image of Dil Bechara and take part in some heavy-duty action herself as well.
Vikrant Massey- Sanya Malhotra
Vikrant and Sanya are one of the most talented actors in the bunch of talent that we have in this generation. While Sanya is riding high on the success of Pagglait, Vikrant has proven himself with each film of his, and now the duo is ready to collaborate on Red Chillies Entertainment’s crime thriller, Love Hostel. The film traces the volatile journey of a spirited young couple, being hunted by a ruthless mercenary and also stars Bobby Deol.
Sanya Malhotra-Abhimanyu Dassani
Sanya is on a professional roll right now and amongst her upcoming films is also Netflix’s Meenakshi Sundareshwar. In the film, Sanya unites with Abhimanyu, who debuted against Sanya’s on-screen sister in Patakha, Radhika Madan in 2019. The film sees both the actors as South-Indians and the first look of both of them has created a lot of buzz already.
Abhimanyu Dassani-Mrunal Thakur
After attempting action in his first film, Mard Ko Dard Nahin Hota, Abhimanyu is delving into comedy with Umesh Shukla’s Aankh Micholi. The film boasts of an ensemble cast including the likes of Divya Dutta and Paresh Rawal and will see Abhimanyu paired opposite Mrunal, who is also debuting in the comedy genre with this film.
